Bidrage med feedbackThe coffee and pastry selection at this restaurant is excellent, on par with their sister coffee shop in Harpenden.
The Brew and Cru café, located next to the entrance of St Albans Arena, offers a fantastic cup of coffee. The most difficult part is deciding which coffee production method to choose from: Barista, V69, syphon (serving 2 to 3 people), aeropress, cold brew, chemex, French press, or Turkish. During my lunch visit, I opted for a pizza which was delicious and better quality, taste, and price compared to chain pizza restaurants. It would be a nice touch if they offered complimentary newspapers for guests to enjoy while sipping on their coffee or tea and enjoying a pastry or cake (depending on the time of day). Unfortunately, the café will not be open for much longer as the lease is up for sale, so I highly recommend visiting before it closes.
The breakfast at this restaurant is excellent, with friendly staff and good value. If you're in the area, it's definitely worth stopping by, especially for their delicious coffee.
We visited here two consecutive days as my son was in a show at The Alban Arena we had lunch and drinks on both days. They do a good selection of wraps, sandwiches and pizza and salads alongside cakes and coffee including soya milk. We also enjoyed the smoothies and has tropical and green smoothie staff were helpful. A welcome change from the chains like costs and Starbucks good coffee.
Wonderful pizza in surprisingly light and airy environment.
