Steak House - Spruce Pine

Good place to get vegetables. Food is generally good. Prices ok. Eat all you want. Can get takeout containers. All around ok place to eat.

We had lunch there today, and I was very uncomfortable to see other customers walking around without masks, visiting the buffet tables, visiting other tables and talking, all in sight of the restaurant staff. I know the recent mask mandate requires restaurant patrons to wear masks unless eating or drinking. I also know businesses are required to enforce the mandate. We will not return until safe practices are restored.

As someone who has worked in the restaurant industry for 19 years, I was disappointed by the lack of proper response to our concerns. The manager did not seem bothered by the fact that our experience had been disrupted, as he was seen chatting with other employees in the kitchen area. I decided to give an average rating because of the excellent service provided by our server. I hope that our next visit will be a better experience.

The buffet at this restaurant is amazing and the staff is fantastic. I cannot praise the people there enough.

The food at this restaurant is delicious, especially the steaks. The service is good, with attentive and helpful staff. The clientele tends to be older, like us, and some of them were even wearing sports T-shirts from the nearby Little Switzerland hotel. I am writing this review because this establishment is classified as one type, but I strongly disagree and would instead classify it as something else.
