The Choppin Block - Springville

We arrived at this place for dinner. my friend recommended this restaurant. We were not disappointed. The staff were very polite and we had a great feeling. The meal was delicious. We loved this restaurant very much, and we will find ourselves. Stop it.

After having eaten (4 of us), I asked our very pleasant and attentive waitress whether the Choppin Block was under new management or new cook. She told me nothing about the change of management and chef. The reason I asked was that we were at The Choppin Block 9 or 12 months ago and our experience was a 180 last time tonight. The food was cooked as ordered, served at the right temperature and very tasty. Very satisfied with our experience tonight. Well done and keep it in the right direction.

Excellent hot food bar. So close to home cooking as you will find. Not greasy and not salted. I recommend fried chicken, but follow your heart. As far as I know, the hot food bar is only available for lunch Mon Fri and Sunday. Someone fixes me in those hours if I'm wrong. Hamburgers are best in town, really good frits and good sandwiches. I had the reubs and the club. Good iced tea too. Now the steaks are a little expensive and to my taste not to the enjoyability of the other things I have mentioned yet, they are not bad and you will not find better local.

Good food and good service. Waiting times vary, but you can plan for a little. I think prices are a little steep. Live music when they have it is generally good. You need to come early to get a place in the bar if you want to hear the group.

Enjoyed dinner here last night. Great steaks- perfectly cooked and great taste. Our waitress was attentive and kind. Casual, family atmosphere. We will definitely be back.
