Yogi Sushi - Springfield

Very fresh sashimi, reasonable price, very recommened!

This was my 2nd time coming....was giving it a 2nd chance and this place SUCKS! The first time, it was stuff they already made and was up for sale. The sushi wasn't fresh. The 2nd time, I ordered The Platter for $60 and I was told I had to pick it up later that day. I got it, and it looked really good but tasted REALLY BAD, The sushi pieces were small and dried out and the rice was also dry as if they didn't soak it. I would NEVER go to this place even if I had a Super Sushi craving and instead would opt for the stuff I see at Safeway or Giant instead of this place. Truly the worst.

My husband and I are sushi/maki/bento box lovers. We tried so many restaurants and sushi bars all around Fairfax County and we make sushi at home as well. HOWEVER, this place is just simply a treasure in this vast ocean of businesses. Neat, polite, prompt service, and delicious and fresh rolls! It is that simple. We got two sets with a very pleasant 30% discount (from the day stand), and another fresh (made in front of us) set and a hand roll (to compare freshness and taste). To our great surprise, both options were amazing. The rice was moist, not falling apart, and not pressed too much into bricks (like some other more expensive places), the fish was so tender, and all the rest ingredients were up high quality! The rolls were acceptably small but many, and I've seen smaller in most places) Should not forget to mention the prices! It's the lowest price I have ever seen for Sushi! We are definitely coming back and going only there from now on. Please don't forget to tip the man who runs the place, he absolutely deserves it!
