The Springbrook Italian Bistro and Tap House

My husband and I enjoyed the two pasta dishes we ordered at the restaurant, but we were disappointed that there were no vegetables included with the dishes. The only option for vegetables was a side salad that was available for an extra charge. We were also hoping for a change in the decor, perhaps some Italian music and more vegetable options would have made the experience even better for us.

We were there for my Birthday. I was excited that they allowed me to add steak to the House Salad that was on special that night. However when the salad arrived the steal was cold. I ordered a drink with lime and received a lemon. Took awhile for our waitress to get me the lime. I ordered a second drink and she again brought it with lemon. I really like this restaurant but as disappointed since it was my Birthday dinner.

In general, it was a very positive experience. When we first arrived, it was quite cold due to an issue with the heater. However, we were offered complimentary coffee or hot chocolate to help warm us up. Phil greeted us warmly and the food was excellent. The pretzel was especially delicious and memorable.

My husband and I have been regulars at this restaurant since it first opened. We appreciate the convenient location near our home. The food is excellent, the prices are reasonable, the atmosphere is nice, and they are one of the few places that offer cannolis for dessert. We recently brought our friends here and everyone enjoyed their meal. Our friends also mentioned that they would like to return. Doug, the owner and chef, has done a great job creating the menu.

First of all we are both over 75 so....We look for Good Food, Good service and a warm pleasant experience. Thanks for that! Really liked your choice of design logo using the local view of the golf coarse. We will return to try different meal choices, really liked our first choices. Don 't know if our 'tummies ' are big enough to try salad bar , meal and desert. But we will try a lunch . Thx 4 the Italian choices. Have dined in this area for over 50 years.
