Waffle House - Springboro

I’d like to give it a 5 because waffle houses are great, but we sat down at the counter, immediately asked if we were here for takeout, and we said “uh no, can’t we sit at the counter? Lol” and then it took literally 5-7 minutes for anyone to even acknowledge we were there (they may have just gotten a rush of orders so I understand) so then they asked for our drink order and we said 2 decaf coffees and after a bit the guy said “sorry, we can’t find any decaf” haha so we ended up just leaving. What sort of diner doesn’t have decaf coffee especially one that is open 24/7 for those that just want taste of coffee without caffeine?

It's waffle house. You get a home cooked meal in a nice tiny cafe.

We had a to go order. My husband went into this location and ordered. We knew it would be a little bit, but we did not expect sitting for over 30+ min and our order not even being called. There was one of two waitresses that asked about the to go order (wasn't even the one who took our order). No one responded/answered her. We left.This is not the first time we have had to wait 30+min for even just waffles, let alone anything else. This was our last straw with this location, unfortunately. We will not be back.To note, there were 2 waitresses and 1 Cook about 700 PM on a Saturday even.We did end up going to the next location just south an exit and didn't wait 3 min before our order was placed, called, started cooking, and paid for. In and out the door in 10 min.

It was very busy, the staff did the best they could. We had a large group. They got everything correct but forgot just one waffle, and corrected it quickly.
