Front Porch - Spring City

When the new owners took over, we thought we would try the restaurant. I ordered chicken pliers with one side onion rings. The meal was amazingly good. The waitress explained that the tenders were hand doubled in dough and deep fritted to light golden brown. The onion rings seemed to be cut by hand thick, broken and deep fried. We liked them so much that we have often ordered them in the last few months. Unfortunately, the quality went down steadily over time. The last two times the tenders and rings looked like cheap frozen versions that you could get in a convenience store and fried up to burn. We won't be back!

Great food and atmosphere. The breakfast was well proportional and the price was right. The BBQ did smell fantastic but I wasn't able to have any based on timing.

Love this little resort, restaurant and marina, very clean with pretty setting! We went for lunch at 3, which can mean food not so fresh but everything was fresh and hot! The fried green tomatoes and braised spinach were better than Calhouns! Six of us had different items from the menu and everything was delicious. We are going again for breakfast today! Great place to visit when on Watts Bar lake!

Ate there today and food was very very good. We?re taken care of soon as we arrived. All good come see for yourself

Here for the Feathercraft boot rally. As usual, food and service were very good, even with new owners. The new management has made several improvements and plans more so I would recommend this place as a good one on the water refreshment stop.
