Bao's Cafe - Spring

Came here for lunch on a Saturday they still offered the lunch combo on the weekends!! Great service food.

We ordered take-out through an online order system. It didn?t update the system so we were not sure when our food was going to arrive. Once we called in, we were able to get status update. The food is good for simple comfort eating if you do not feel like cooking and also didn?t want to eat fancy. We had the Seafood Deluxe, Mushroom Tofu, Beef Pepper, Hot and Sour Soup.

We?ve been eating here for many years and have always been happy with the food until I almost swallowed A STAPLE. I called to let them know and they actually told me that it?s happened to someone else before. They offered me an $8 credit for next time. I?m concerned that this will happen again and I don?t think I can eat here again because of it. If this has happened before, I would think they would immediately correct the environment that allowed this to happen.

Been here a few times to pick up soup as it is that soup is typically my go to meal for lunch. I got the sizzling rice soup and went back to work to eat in the office. My soup had little gnats, about 5-6 in there. I discovered this after I had already ate about 3 spoonfuls and ended up throwing it all away. Ended up eating chips for lunch.

Absolutely delicious. I dined in on a whim on a Monday at 2pm. There was nobody here eating except me really so I had a nice quiet lunch. But the food was what really threw me for a loop. Based on reviews I thought it may be your classic greasy Chinese food, which I was kinda craving. But it was SO flavorful. I had the bbq pork appetizer and the orange chicken lunch. The wonton soup didn?t look like anything special at first glance but was very flavorful and so satisfying. The bbq pork was tender and rich, and came with a wonderful tangy sauce. And the orange chicken was just as flavorful and tender. I?m used to subpar places delivering squishy or chewy (in a bad way) orange chicken. Now I?m mad I?ll be moving away from this place cause it was absolutely a gem hidden in plain sight! Don?t skip this place, absolutely fresh and delicious!
