Bidrage med feedbackWe visited Kismet during lunch time. They were not very busy during this time with only about 1/3 of the tables occupied. Our waitress took a very long time to check in on us and when she finally did my friend ordered a negroni and upon learning he had not had a negroni prior the waitress stated you want to order something else I asked for clarification as to how she knew my friend wouldn 't like it and she said it 's our most returned drink. in a very short clipped tone of voice. The food was wonderful, it came out quickly and hot and this was truly the saving grace to my review because with waitstaff like that you 'd have to have some really good food to balance her attitude out.During our stay a group came in and sat down but waited so long to be greeted that they ended up leaving.
Absolutely amazing food. The chef/owner makes everything from scratch and the flavors are so good. Restaurant week highlighted in the pics!
Food was amazing. Highly recommend. Tall tables were not a great fit for someone else 5' 4 . Try to get one of the lower tables, if you can.
I had never tasted many of the foods I ate here. The octopus was quite tender, the Cuban sandwich was very good, also the Carmel bread pudding desert. I enjoyed the Italian raspberry soda.
The fried tacos are incredible. The Duck confit had an amazing smoky richness that was complemented by a bright tangy mojo verde. The duck was cooked to perfection. Prawn paella was a treat as well! Will be back. Nice blue-collar vibe. Big beautiful mural. Amazing food without the gentrification. Someone nominate Chef Dan Gonzalez for a James Beard Award!
