Gozo Brick Oven Bistro - Spokane

This place has a great pizza. I was in Manhattan two weeks ago trying an authentic Italian pizza, and that's as close as you're in Spokane. The pizza during dinner time is great enough to feed 2 people and costs only $17. It was very nice and quiet, althogu we were three at 4:30 on a Saturday. Come back here! They also have sushi and sandwiches.

A handcrafted pizza consists of the same basic ingredients as a standard pizza, baked in one of several different types of ovens as a standard pizza, is consumed, digested and divorced as a standard pizza, but then, you pay four times as much as a standard pizza. That is why I would not call this place “artisan”, but “arteawsome”. Amazing pizza. Amazing service. Five.

We had a wonderful experience at Gozo! It was our first time to visit this restaurant and we thought they closed later when they did... so we arrived minutes before closing. We had not yet arrived and planned to come another time, but were greeted at the door and graciously sitting and assured we were in no way inconvenience, even though we were the only ones there. Super attentive and offers quality service during our visit. Okay, so the food: we ordered the Melage-Oasis pizza and the cheesy Brezel bites. Both articles were so good. The house salad was just $5 and the dressing was delicious. Also the cedar we chose was delicious and there was an extensive list of drinks to choose from. I think really good prices. We will definitely visit again!!

Excellent customer service! I first ordered a pizza that wasn't important to me. That was totally my fault as I should read the description better! I thought I had received the wrong order, so I returned to the restaurant with the pizza. Obviously I was the one who made the mistake, but they were so gracious and offered me something else to do. After a pleasant conversation, my new pizza was made in a few minutes. For the night of April 17: You are fantastic! Thanks for the great service and the food! I'll come back!

Great wine list!! Salads are fantastic I especially like the Balearic (Spanish) Winds salad. Pizzas, too good variety and delicious. Unlike some places that feel pizza sauce should taste like candy, this place does a great job at flavor balance. Support the downtown small businesses!!! Another plus they play great Mediterranean region music.
