Clinkerdagger - Spokane

Always great food and service if you are looking for a good experience, this is the place to go.

Clinkerdagger is our very popular restaurant as we had our first date. Last night was our anniversary and there was no place where we would rather be. Our special evening was noticed when we sat with a magnificent view of the falls. Tina was our server and, in our opinion, they and Joe are two of the most beautiful in Spokane. Tina worked extra hard to get us the drink we hoped for, although it wasn't in the season. Dinner was the usual tasty and skillfully presented. We had the scallops and grilled salmon and they were delicious and perfectly prepared.

Was looking forward to this dinner all week. Made a reservation for dinner to try the restaurant week menu. Got seated and ordered our food. The first course came out pretty quick and was delicious. The second course took a bit longer to arrive but it was pretty busy so not completely unexpected. Unfortunately when we got our food my husband’s prime rib was 95% fat and was only able to get 3 bites/pieces of actual meet from it and the scallops I ordered were cold. Everything else was delicious and the manager compensated some of our meal which was nice of them. Overall it was a rather disappointing experience food wise and for a restaurant of such high reputation.
