Mangrove Cafe Bakery - Spokane Valley

Well, this is an amazing hidden gem in Spokane. A friend and I wanted Thai Food, so we googled the restaurant and found this restaurant. We did not realize that it was by reservation only, but the owner had some availability. I ordered the Red Curry dish that was AMAZING! They add slices of fresh pumpkin to it. When I say fresh, I mean that the cook (his wife) went into the garden and got a pumpkin! How cool was this!? They are only open for a short window, but all money is donated to help elephants. What is better than a restaurant with great food, family-owned, and they donate the proceeds?

Had dinner here with our family. The food was delicious! I loved my Pad Thai with chicken! It’s a small place with a lovely garden, run by a husband and wife duo. You need to call ahead for a reservation. Highly recommend trying this place. So yummy! One of the best local places to eat out at. High quality service, food and atmosphere. Cute garden with a cute family owned business. Super fresh meats, fruits and veggies, most likely pulled from their home garden or other local places.
