White Horse Saloon - Spirit Lake

My husband and I stayed here for one night on our road trip and we?d absolutely come back! The bedroom was fresh, bright, and super clean. Very comfy bed and pillows. Was thrilled with the high-powered ceiling fan. The only thing some folks might not be into was the thin curtain which made it quite bright in the morning but that didn?t bother us as we like the morning sun and had to be up early anyways. The shared bathroom was spotless and the shower was amazing. Some of the best hotel bath products I?ve used! The bar/restaurant side is a really cool slice of history with the lobby featuring historical write ups of the location. The bar had a wide variety of drinks and cheap beer. Overall, this seems to be a great gem of a spot with friendly staff and we?d happily stay here again.

Can't really say enough nice things about this place. The manager Kendall was truly accommodating and the service was amazing. We rented two adjoining rooms, stayed two nights, and had little ones with us. I wasn't sure at first about staying upstairs at a saloon with little ones, but not only did it not matter, we all felt like family for those two days. The remodeled rooms were super comfortable and the showers were awesome. We wanted for nothing. It was a fantastic experience and we'll be back when we get the chance.

Great location, room was nice and clean. Some reviews mention the lights of the sign outside the saloon but we did not find this to be a problem. Room got pretty hot, small window unit could not keep up and also made very loud noise at times which woke both of us up.

Our room was clean and cool thanks to a window air conditioner. Shared bathrooms were clean and the shower head is 7' tall so just about anybody can shower comfortably. We ate at the bar and played some Foosball and pool. I had 2 beers and just walked upstairs to the room so that was nice. Only $55 per night so it's hard to beat.

I really want this to be a 5 stars just cause it's a neat concept and I really like it. I will start with you get exactly what is stated. A room with a bed. I was worried when booking about noise or smoke smell. My gf and I came in midweek while visiting Silverwood and had no issues with either. Bartender was nice and rooms are modern. We booked a queen bed in Room 16. But when we got there it was a full size bed. The internet listing was wrong. They did switch us. But the new room had a broke box spring, bedframe was wonky, sheet had a bleach stain and door frame busted. Only other issue was there was no lock on the half bathroom. Other then that I really enjoyed this place and have no doubt these things will be fixed in time. We felt safe and bathrooms were clean. This was NOT by any means a dinky, ghetto, dirty room. The establishment was very well done and nice. You can not beat the cost!! Easy check in and switching rooms was a breeze. We will stay here again!
