Messy's Burgers - Spirit Lake

My dad and I came to eat here the other evening. We actually ordered our food to go, as we were staying in the cute cabin hotels down the road.Our first impression~ this place is so cute!Their customer service was really great! Everyone working there was super friendly, and helpful!I loved that the owners story was written on the menu, take the time to read it, it’s sweet!We both ordered a burger and fries. We ordered the drunken cowboy, and the philthy mess. They were to die for, SOOO YUMMY!!! The burger patty was cooked perfectly. Not too greasy. Just, soo delicious!Their fries are amazing. Fresh, salty, not covered in grease.If I didn’t live in Portland, Oregon..I’d be a regular here.Eat here!!So yummy!!

My absolute favorite burger place.So scrumptious!!I get the mushroom burger and it just melts in your mouth.Unfortunately I always end up driving here and it's closed half the time..Our last visit however we were all definitely disappointed.Our fries were burnt to a crisp , my kids corn dogs too they would not eat them.Our burgers were okay.What happened?

The best burger and maybe even the best meal since we moved to North Idaho! Yelp says they are closed but they are OPEN, so glad we didn't pass it up thinking they were closed! Wonderful service but hands down the BEST burgers!!

Too bad. In my quest for the best burger place in the Spokane area I heard about this place, the food truck one in postfalls/cda. I live in Spokane so we made the drive over and wouldn't you know it, the other food trucks were al open and Messy's burgers was closed. I tried them again a few weeks later and they were open and I had a very good burger and fries. We told a friend about it and again made drive over to there to enjoy lunch on labor day at noon. The parking lot was full, people all milling about. Uh Oh, Messys burgers was again the only one closed. At peak lunch time on the busiest day of the year they were closed. Every other food truck was open even the coffee place. So I give up. I tried my best but they don't want our business bad enough to stay open. I won't waste the gas to drive to Idaho only to be turned away.

The food was delicious BUT the service was outstanding! Totally down to earth, friendly and just really NICE owner and staff. We will most DEFINATELY go back.
