Sawyer Brewing Company - Spearfish

Great food, great beer and great service! We have the cooking salad that was easily divided between 2 people and the chicken bacon pizza. Both had really good flavors that all the ingredients in each dish compliment. The beers were very good, the flight is definitely the way to go when you are indecision as I are. Definitely recommend when you are in the area!

On the way from Denver to North Dakota. Saw the potato pizza on the menu and had to try it out. Almost ate the whole thing alone, ordered another one to take the woman home. She gave me a funny look when I told her what it was, pretty sure, it's the best way to eat potatoes. We both loved it! Beers were also great... I like the IPA's and I brought a cookie crumb to share beer home and it was also delicious! Friendly staff was helpful and nice. We'll stop at any time we're going through!

One of the better breweries we have visited in SD. There is a good variety of beers from sours to stouts. My wife is not a beer fan, so loves sours and this is one of the few places in SD we found that has more than 3. Their amber is delicious and very crushable. The only knock may be the service being a bit slow, but we are very patient people and don't mind a little wait. It was a very busy July 3 when we visited.
