Spianataandco - Southwark

This restaurant is very understated and the music may be a bit too loud (this is the only downside, but it actually adds to the atmosphere). The staff, prices, and food are all excellent! It's a great option for a quick lunch or snack - the lasagna is phenomenal.

Great place for lunch. Fast and friendly. Delicious sandwiches. Very good coffee. Great location. Limited items but the items they do have are wonderful.

Good place to grab a coffee and breakfast or lunch. Classic Italian flavours. I really enjoyed the spicy salami sandwich and the caprese salad. Such a nice change from the surrounding chains and surprisingly not that busy.... a fun vibe inside with quite loud and upbeat music so probably not a place to go and sit with a book. The fact it is a touch pricey and the sandwich fillings are a bit mean (although clearly premium quality, and with great fresh bread) is the only reason not to give 5 stars.

As an Italian in London, I love having my lunch breaks at Spianata as it has amazing sandwiches and hot/cold plates. The bread is really nice, the only negative aspect is that it's quite expensive for what you get. A spianata sandwich has one slice of ham and one of cheese.. it's delicious, but really they could fill it a bit more.. especially when you pay £4.50 for one....

This place is modern and warm, stylish and cozy at the same time. the staff is very kind and the food is delicious and fresh. We ate a salad with salmon, lettuce and pink grapefruit and one with shrimps, avocado, lettuce and spinach. We ended with bomboloni with custard (you can’t miss them!!! . More London Place is a nice area so if you’re nearby, have a try..... you won’t regret!
