Osborne Bros Cafe - Southend-on-Sea

Here on Saturday for an early Valentine's Day consumption. They had some nicely closed in pavilions with benches, so we sit comfortably and are not blown away from the heavy winds. We decided to get a seafood plate as a treat for an early brunch, with two rolls of bread and two cans of drink. The whole crowd came about £35 and it was worth every penny! Super fresh seafood, beautiful soft rolls and cold drinks could not have asked for a better brunch! Will be back very soon, I'm sure.

We thought on Friday for a light lunch and enjoyed our chili salmon salad and cancer salad. Service was good and prompt, the toilet clean and we enjoyed sitting outside with view.

There at 13:30 on a sat for a seafood dinner. Large selection of seafood and I liked the fact that they were plated for 1. That's great, because my other half doesn't like Platter, so we can order what we want without wasting food. The oysters were fresh, although each of the oysters was completely detached from the shell, so let me ask why... Chips were great and we liked it too. Can't reserve, but we don't have to wait long for a table.

Nice little place right by the sea. The freshest fish you get anywhere and with friendly and warm service. You can't go wrong.

Fantastic seafood and friendly service. Try the octopus hotdog (Friday to Sunday) and the cockle/samphire loaded fries. Soft drinks only but I think they let you bring in drinks from the pub over the road.
