The Dumpling Table - South Yarra

A friend and I stumbled here last night, when the two requirements we had were cancelled: knödel byo. plus is right at our apartments. we ordered the pork evaporated emptying, the chicken and dumpling in suppe and steamed beef clings also. everything was good, but the dizzy dumplings were great! for just $9 they get 15! super cheap and delicious.

The xiao long bao is all I command, as they are delicious juicy clouds of evaporating sky puppet clouds, I am addicted. service is also good with friendly and attentive staff

A great find in an expensive part of town, Perfect for a quick tasty no frills inexpensive tasty dinner. Good quick service. Decent sized glass of red (or white) for 7.50. Mains around 15. Very pleasant fried rice didn't test the dumplings. Plain very undemanding décor, no music, just (pleasant) cooking noises, lots of take away, inside and street dining, didn't check the loos, probable side street parking but close to tram stop and South Yarra rail. Visited twice as convenient and very agreeable. Would recommend and definitely revisit.

My son and i ordered a variety of dishes including steamed and fried dumplings , vegetables etc and the overall quality was seriously very bad, The Pork dumplings had no flavour and taste the same as the chicken and prawn dumplings, The fried dumplings were burnt on one side ? These were seriously the worse dumplings I've ever eaten,

I asked for one take away seafood noodles. they prepared two. Maybe a misunderstanding. Arrived home. nearly all noodles and only one prawn. Didn,t check receipt. Charged me $38 dollars. My advice is to avoid the place. A mainland Chinese mentality. Make as much profit as u can today. Don't plan to build a long term customer relationship.
