Pizza Express 363 Fulham Rd

Typically, Pizza Express maintains a good standard across its locations, but we were somewhat disappointed during our recent visit. The service was slow despite the restaurant not being busy, and they forgot to bring our drinks. We ordered caramelized onions to go with our vegan mozzarella garlic bread, fully aware there would be an extra charge. However, we found the charge of £1.95 was rather steep for such a small amount (as shown in the picture). Additionally, the starter was slightly overcooked, and the quality of the main dishes left much to be desired, with some pasta pieces being hard. Overall, we felt the meal was overpriced—paying £40 for two mains, one starter, and two drinks did not seem justified given the quality.
