Bidrage med feedbackI purchased a beef and salad roll and a chicken and salad roll for $8.50 each. Unfortunately, both rolls were soggy, lacking filling, and the roast beef was tough and chewy. It was not worth the money I paid and I will not be returning to this restaurant.
I noticed some changes in this restaurant that made me suspect it is under new management. It has been a while since I last dined here, but while the burger was decent, the seafood basket was disappointing. The calamari seemed to have been moved around, and I only took a few bites before deciding to leave the rest. The prawns were overcooked and tough, rating a 4 out of 10. The chips and salad were not up to par, with most of it ending up in the trash. I think I will try a different place next time.
Located in the heart of the city, this restaurant offers a great dining experience. The fact that they now accept EFTPOS is definitely a plus. The food is consistently delicious, the service is friendly, and it is a good value for the price.
The breakfast here eaten a few times. can't complain. I eat dear and decent portions. good price. coffees are beautiful and it is around the corner of my house love it
I have just eaten the most delicious fillet of gluten-free crumbed fish and it was enormous. Lovingly crumbed in rice flour at the time of ordering and cooked in a dedicated gluten-free fryer, you won't get better in Tamworth. The golden brown rice flour crumbing...is equal to or better than the regular bread crumb fried fish that you will encounter elsewhere. The hot chips were also perfect and if you need a hit of chicken salt, the Corner Shack have chicken salt in the gluten-free variety too. So for all the coeliacs in or visiting Tamworth, you no longer have to put up with a dried-out piece of fish from some other shop's grill. The Corner Shack has nailed crumbed fish so that you will never look back to the days when you ate gluten containing foods. But don't just visit The Corner Shack for the gluten-free fish. There is a whole lot more on the menu. The delightful sunny outdoor eating area is also fully fenced, so you can relax whilst the little ones run around, knowing they are safely contained. As for the staff, if you can walk through the door without being warmly greeted, I'll be very surprised. Service the way it used to be.
