The charming pub has a welcoming atmosphere and is perfect for a large group. The menu offers delicious food and a variety of local beers. The staff made everyone feel at home and ensured a wonderful experience for all.

We received a warm welcome and helpful service at this restaurant, where we had booked a table for three. The menu offered plenty of choices at reasonable prices, and the food was well cooked and tasty. It is definitely worth a visit. The pub was taken over just before Covid, and the proprietors deserve to succeed. Look out for themed events in the future.

I met up with my family at this pub for lunch and we were made to feel very welcome. The food was delicious and there was plenty of it. The chicken, bacon, and avocado jacket potato was especially tasty, and those who had burgers really enjoyed them as well. The pub offers a children's menu with generous portions. The beer drinkers in our group enjoyed a local brew and mentioned that the pub knows how to take care of their beer.

Popped by for some food on a Saturday lunchtime. Good food, friendly service and nice choice of ales. Sat in the garden but looks like the pub itself would be a cosy choice in the winter months.
