Bidrage med feedbackYesterday, I started to write a 5 star review while waiting for my carry-out order until I was approached by the gal with a large pizza box, attempting to place it in front of me, asking/verifying if it 's my order. I said, No. I didn 't order that. I ordered a personal pan. She then realized it and took it away. Yeah, she was pleasant, but pleasantly wrong. Meanwhile, a family is seated and the guy who took my order earlier for the personal pan and dessert, went over to take the orders of the family. After a long wait for my order, they got served before I ever did. When I approached the young man about it, he neither said anything about it that I recall nor did he ever apologize. Instead, proceeded to tell me they are out of my particular dessert and tried to sell me an alternative of which I looked at two of them and decided not to go with either of them. He then said he will deduct the dessert from what I already paid with my debit card, without the need for my card or signature. But after my questioning it, he agreed to cancel the transaction and redo it so that I would be receipted, which we did. I already paid the tip in cash based on the original bill. I even offered to buy the last incomplete piece of chocolate moose pie that they had left, emphasizing that it was a favorite dessert of mine that they had, but he and a Spanish lady there refused my request. She just said, “No! I have been coming here for years. I have liked their food and have been treated well by some the older guys behind the counter. However, I remember another time interacting with this same young man and the experience was disappointing. I think, if I recall, he was on the phone on hold at the register while I waited a long while. He never paid me eye contact, as if I never existed. I 'm also a senior. I don 't like to be treated as though I 'm invisible or insignificant, which is how I felt both times, interacting with him. I understand they were a little busy, but this is unacceptable. When I did get my carryout, there were no packets of pepper or cheese included, nor napkins, nor were they offered. Maybe he was glad to get rid of me, although I was never hostile nor rude. I was respectful of them though they were disrespectful of me. It’s been a hit and miss there, depending on who’s working when I’ve come in. Vegetarian options: I always choose their vegetarian items.
Good homemade pizza and traditional entrees. I love their Veal Parmigiana and Eggplant Parmigiana. A take-out favorite.
First time here. The food is amazing. I’ll surely visit again.
I love this place. It’s my first time and we will be back. It’s now my go to pizza in the Bay Area. Similar pricing to all the others but you get a much larger and much better pizza. The cheese is salty and I’ve never had anything like it and the crust is delicious. This from someone who usually doesn’t eat their crust. They have beer in bottles and on tap, wine as well. They have a small beer on tap for $7 or a $13 version that holds 3 beers at least. I usually will make my own pizza at home, but this place is a winner, just don’t tell anyone I don’t want it to get cramped in there.I love the quaint homey feel it provides when dining in. They have whatever major football game is on playing on the TV. The booths are kinda slim, that’s the only con. The girl that works there is super nice, she got us everything we needed and she had a nice vibe. Parked in the goodwill/smart and final lot and they caught our eye so we walked over.
Got the veggie and award winning pizza. It truly was an exceptional pizza with great crust. And we had plenty of leftovers too.
