Boudin Bakery, Catering Only

We loved this place!! It is a kind of self-service, but the sourdough bread is yummy. We had clam soup and beef soup. It's not really cheap but a decent price. I recommend it.

Great restaurant with good food and good service. We ate here a few years ago and were just as pleased with the menu and the quality of food as on our latest visit. We went upstairs to eat and had a great view along with the tasty food. Great menu selection and our server was prompt and friendly. If you're in the Fisherman's Wharf area, I would strongly suggest to eat here.

I discovered a new kind of Cesar salad today ! The one with a lot of salad not equally fresh) 5 little pieces of chicken and a cheese tentative, let’s say..ah !! Very original: a piece of butter no taste) on top of the salad ..plus terrible service. Looks good but it is a desperate place. Bakery since 1849 . Probably with a better costumer respect..

Do an order to go, they messed it up. Food was picked up in one location, then coffee at another but just left out after we searched around… then had to go back because in the bag they missed out two items on the order… they all seem very miserable…

The food was great. Unfortunately, the service was terrible. The waiter gave us water and took our order. That was the last we saw of him till we asked the Maître d' for the bill. A server brought our food. We couldn't get the waiter's attention to order any other drinks, refills of water or the bill. I spoke to the Maître d' about this and asked for the bill. She said nothing about my complaint and fetched the waiter who promptly brought the bill. Even though the food was very good, I have given 2 stars in this review as I contacted Boudin that evening to express my disappointment and I have yet to receive a reply
