On The Border Mexican Grill Cantina

Guillermo, our server and bartender was great! He served us our food hot and quickly.

We needed a snack after driving around town trying to find parking at the beach. The watermelon and mango margarita quenched our thirst(and claimed our nerves) ...and you can't go to on the border without having the best chips and salsa!!!

Coming back from our family summer vacation and hearing that Porche' is no longer here due to new management firing her is outrageous!!!. Not one manager came over and made sure my family and I were okay after coming up here for years. Porche' was the only manager to care. Our server Aauset was great, but the food has lost their touch due to all the stores closing. It says a lot about their establishment and loyalty they don't give their employees. Especially Porche who kept this restaurant together. Sorry to say that On The Border needs to let Georgia go. 7 stores closing. It says a lot. Don't get hyped up it's not all that great anymore. Well, no longer be coming like the others.

Food was delicious, our waitress was great! Small dinning area. Margarita flight was weak.

Probably the best place to eat at South Padre Island.
