BBQ Nation - South Melbourne

When looking for a delicious Friday night meal, we usually rely on BBQ Nation. However, this time was very disappointing. The mixed platter was good, but the butter chicken was watery and the lamb vindaloo was overly salty and lacked heat. I hope they can improve because usually they are a reliable choice.

The service at this restaurant is excellent and they have a variety of new starters. The food is served warmly and although they do not accept tips, a service fee is included. The appetizers and desserts are outstanding, but the main course is just average. Each table has a grill where you can cook your own food if desired. The service is fast and they serve hot rotis. Overall, it is worth returning to this restaurant for the great experience and value for money.

Generally rely on BBQ nation for a yummy Friday night takeaway, this time they where very average, the mixed plater entre was nice, though the butter chicken was watery and the lamb vindaloo, which I think was beef? was extremely salty? and not hot at all?... mmmm I'm hoping they have not dropped the ball? generally they are reliable.

Their service is excellent starters have new varieties. They serve food with warmth. No tip is taken but service charge is levied. The starters and desserts and superb but main course is okay. The grill being on each table, one can grill food to their desired level.. Service is fast and they serve hot rotis. overall satisfying experience worth going again and value for money
