The Wordsworth Signature

Large hotel with a great garden for the sunshine. We thoroughly enjoyed burger and chips.

Just back from a five day stay here. Highly recommend this hotel for service, food accommodation and extremely helpful polite staff. Very central location and lovely gardens.

Popped in for an evening meal. Food was nice and service was really good.

Fish (awful) and chips (ok). Not sure what fish they gave me. Looks off, brownish colour. Batter thicker than a slice of bread.

Great for some drinks and okay on atmosphere. Just don't order the food. Probably the worst pub grub I've ever had (and I've been to some rough places). Greasy, very sad, and certainly didn't recieve what was written on the menu. Only ate it because we had to pay up front and didn't want the ag. Find yourself a new chef guys, if they can't cook the basics then they're bad for business. The food was so bad we went to coop after just to get an ice cream to wash the lingering grease away (certainly wasn't risking a dessert). Not how we were hoping our last night in Grasmere would be!
