The Potting Shed Cafe - South Lakeland

We had a nice breakfast this morning and cuppa. it was great service and the mood was very nice for a Sunday morning. we recommend our friends.

After a walk in Ambleside, we found this restaurant to be a great spot for a full breakfast. We enjoyed our meal so much that we returned a few days later for lunch. Both meals were very pleasant. For breakfast, we had the full English and full veggie breakfast, both of which were excellent. For lunch, we tried the salmon and bark sandwich and the smoked chicken sandwich, both of which were really tasty and offered a nice variety of flavors. The staff were friendly and attentive, but not overly pushy. The tables were well cleaned between customers. We would highly recommend this place for breakfast and lunch, and we will definitely visit again the next time we are in the Lakes.

During our visit to grasmere we thought here was a light lunch. we both ordered sandwiches . I had the booze and my man had that huh. my goodness when they arrived, I thought we had one between us. the flesh was really flesh. not the processed art and the chutney that came with my sink was delicious. we now know we're coming back when we're in the lakes.

My recent visit to this restaurant with my dogs was even more lovely. The ham sandwich was made with thick, hand-ground ham and topped with Hawkshead Relish. The food and cakes are always of very high quality and the staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming. We always enjoy our time in this beautiful garden center. It's a truly delicious experience.

The potting shed was one of the only open cafes whet we visited Grasmere. Want in for coffee and cake. Coffee was good and was pleasantly suprised at the lovely cakes on offer, very good....... Had A good wander around the shop and garden centre.
