The Green Housekeeper Cafe

This café is the best we have ever visited. It is a charming place that we are grateful to have discovered. We enjoyed it so much that we returned on the second day of our trip, and we will definitely visit again every time we are in Coniston in the future. The staff is incredibly friendly and accommodating, and they have a wide range of menu options that you can't find anywhere else. I had a hard time deciding what to order because everything looked so delicious. The food is made with local, fresh ingredients and is absolutely delicious. The sourdough bread is out of this world. We would even go as far as to say it's the best breakfast we've ever had. The café itself is a beautiful, cozy spot with stylish décor and thoughtful details that made our experience even more enjoyable. They also offer takeaway options and have a lovely outdoor seating area where you can relax and enjoy a cup of tea while watching the world go by. We can't wait to visit again. The Green Housekeeper is the best café in Coniston. The staff are friendly and helpful, the location is beautiful, and the outside seating offers stunning views. The food is delicious and served quickly. The workers went above and beyond to accommodate me with a custom meal that was so good, I ended up coming back every morning during my trip.

A wonderful friendly cafe. We went for coffee and cake. There was a wide range of great cakes. I had the cherry and bakewell sponge, it was delicious. The coffee was excellent and a full mugful. My husband was thrilled with his whole pot of tea and chocolate cake. It was very good value and the staff were delightful. The homemade soups looked delicious too
