Magic Wok - South Lakeland

Just like others have mentioned, this restaurant offers a separate vegetarian menu where dishes containing eggs are clearly labelled. The staff is accommodating and will specify your order as vegan for the kitchen. I tried the egg-free fried rice, tofu with black bean, and salt and chili chips, all of which were delicious and packed with garlic flavor.

There are plenty of tofu dishes to choose from, along with options for vegetables. The salt and pepper fries were delicious, I would definitely return to this restaurant.

This restaurant may not offer any fancy extras, but it has a wide variety of vegetarian choices and is willing to accommodate dietary restrictions.

Lovely guy at magic wok for some takeaway when it was crazy busy during school holidays and we had already been refused from 3 different restaurants. Straight away asked if I was vegan when ordering veg so that was easy as, would be great to have options marked on the menu though, portions were decent for the price. Took it and ate it looking over the lake !

Best Chinese I’ve had since going vegan. So nice to have the option, just wish I lived closer!
