Who are all those people who give this place good reviews for? they are not Indian food. Take it from this Indian! I ordered chicken curry, and what I got is flooring swirl together with some curcuma and boiled chicken! will you give me that for the money you accuse? at least some of her young! I am shocked that some people have no idea how tastefully Indian food can be. I guess I can't blame her. they probably don't know good enough Indian food. these so-called restaurant owners in the usa simply open an Indian restaurant because they have made chai once in their lives and now they think they are a cook. complete disput and service for the Indian food and culture! I wish I could give them ZERO stars.

Amazing chicken tikka masala and chicken wraps. This is the only place in town that will give me ???????? spicy food, after I made sure they knew I was serious about spicy food. Just ordered a chicken wrap at 4/5 heat level and I almost couldn't finish it. Hands down the spiciest food I've had in 5 years of living in Tahoe. Even ordered mild, the flavor is rich, delicious, and hearty. This is, without exaggeration, one of the best restaurants in Tahoe.To add, portions are large and I end up eating a meal from this location twice.

Visiting Tahoe from East Coast this was some of the best Indian food I’ve had in ages highly recommend !!!

Don’t let the outside of this spot fool you. It is tucked in a counter in the back of a liquor store. Go pick up or get delivery anyway.The Indian food was comparable to many places in the Bay Area. We got the Chicken Tikka masala and the Saag Paneer. Both were great, but the saag was a surprising winner of the two. The Tikka masala had great flavor but I prefer my sauce a bit on the thicker side, theirs was on the thin side. Nevertheless we very much enjoyed everything we got. The food definitely exceeded expectations and was served piping hot, very fresh.The staff was very kind as well. While I was waiting for my food (I got there early), I was asked to be helped 5 times. Very friendly.

The food here is absolutely and insanely delicious. We have never had a single dish that's anything short of outstanding.The chicken curry is delicious, the chefs special chicken is outstanding and the butter chicken is some of the best I've ever had.I can't recommend Curry Grill enough.
