After about two hours of hiking, we decided to head back down the hill, but unfortunately, some of us experienced discomfort in our knees. Despite this, the dining experience at Sanma restaurant was fantastic. We enjoyed cold-grilled cuddly and delicious sashimi. The restaurant, situated in a small island area, lacked land but offered stunning views. The waters surrounding the island were clear and full of life, giving us a sense of connection to the natural surroundings. We also tried the mountain bibimbap, a dish made with white and red rice, which was flavorful and satisfying. While bibimbap is a popular dish in Japan, this particular version stood out for its delicious taste. Overall, this restaurant on the small island provided a great dining experience with beautiful views and delicious food. We recommend visiting Ulneung Island to experience this unique taste sensation again.

The Sanma restaurant, run by passionate fans, provides guests with a taste of local sake paired with delicious sashimi. The main dish, Sanma, is a highlight on the menu, along with other fresh seafood options available from February to March. In addition to the delightful food and drink, the restaurant also features a small garden with yellow flowers and coconut trees creating a serene atmosphere.

I would rate this restaurant a 4.5. It has become more popular recently, attracting many group customers. The food is delicious, the service is friendly, and the prices are reasonable for Ulleungdo.
