The Hampden Arms - South Heighton

A proper pub, freshly decorated with an external refurbishment still underway, great ale, (Harvey's Long Man), and a good value pizza, as the regular menu was suspended because of an event.

Definitely a pub for locals but a warm welcome for all. Food is available but old style pub grub.

The food is absolutely terrible, all frozen or canned, the dishes were dirty, it was horrible, the cook should be ashamed. The toilets weren't very clean either. It's a shame, the garden is nice. But it's the worst meal we've had in the UK in a long long time !

Lovely friendly pub. A new staff member under instruction from the Landlord. He was lovely and patient with the young lad. Spoke to a few locals and had a great time. Beer was excellent, thoroughly enjoyed my time here. Thank you to all the staff.

This is a friendly and homely place to meet others. I went in the evening when there was live music (Buckler's Reel and it was a good atmosphere. I think pubs like this should be supported. Will return at some point (I live in Worthing!
