Bidrage med feedbackThis restaurant is dog-friendly with a nice atmosphere both inside and outside and provides nice service. We ordered tapas, which were freshly cooked. The only reason I am giving it 4 stars is because when we ordered bread with oil and balsamic vinegar, the waitress accidentally spilled it on the table. The glass flasks holding the balsamic vinegar broke and we ended up with glass in the oil. However, as soon as we brought it to the attention of the staff, they quickly replaced it.
We had good food mostly tapas or taste of small tellers. a lot of taste. good selection for veggies.
I had a pleasant experience at No. 8. The staff was friendly, the rooms were comfortable, and I particularly enjoyed the light breakfast served in bed every morning. Thank you for taking such good care of me.
Lovely friendly staff, excellent service, super food and drinks. Good variety, reasonable prices and attention to detail excellent. [And REAL towels in the loos!!!
I couldn't believe the rudeness of the owner towards a family who walked in with a pushchair and a sleeping wk old baby for an early lunch last week. They were told children are not welcome there is a sign on the door you should have read before coming in. As a family business they have a very poor reputation around Dartmouth and Totes as rude, arrogant and unhelpful. I wouldn't walk through the door if I was paid. They neither welcome residents or visitors which in such a seasonal town is paramount for survival. They bring nothing to our special community whereas most of the local independent restaurants, galleries, cafes, shops in Dartmouth Totnes do bring a welcome ambience making these towns special enjoyable to visit.
