Taco Nazo - South El Monte

31 minutes. That's how long it took from the time I paid for my order to when I received it. This happened on a Monday afternoon and they were fully staffed. This was inside the restaurant. I watched as the drive-thru line kept moving and all of us inside had to sit there and wait. The food is good. I wish they offered the Super Nachos that other Taco Nazos did. Update: Did the drive thru on a Friday night. It took about 20 minutes. This place is slow, but the food is good and it's worth the wait if you want some greasy Mexican food. Parking: Parking is difficult if the drive thru line is long. There is only one entrance and it typically backs into the street. The service was excellent. I was very surprised with that. It isn't normal nowadays to see people from this type of restaurant to approach u a couple of times to ask if everything is fine or if I needed anything. I was actually approached twice by two different ladies who were very nice. The food was just good but not great. I remember going to a Taco Nazo with my father somewhere near Claremont years ago when my pop was still living. The tacos were great and they had a killer salsa. Unfortunately the taste wasn't the same but they were still good n satisfying. I also want to make it clear that the price was very decent. I expected to spend over $20 for just 3 tacos and a drink before I got to the restaurant. To my surprise I paid $21 for a complete meal. 3 Tacos, beans, rice, tostada chips and my drink. That's a good deal considering how expensive it is to eat out in this day in age. Anyhow, I'd go back again since I really enjoyed my meal and the excellent service. Really good as usual, but they are inconsistent with the amount of crema they put in my fish tacos. Also wish they gave more crackers for the coctel.
