Not so enjoyable our first visit..Service great, food questionable. Didn't feel so good after. My bday too. Potatoes over rated.. first timers..Not sure we'll go back anytime soon.

First time going to the Red Cottage. My son was at baseball camp in the area so we looked it up. LOVE this friendly cute clean busy busy place! There's a reason it's busy; in addition to the staff (everyone from the hostess, to the servers, to the cooks being very welcoming, the food is amazing. Maybe the best breakfast I ever had. I had the Red Cottage Bowl with the dressed up homefries and lobster and hollandaise sauce on top. They did not skimp on the lobster at all!! I had trouble finishing it all but I did because, hey its lobster and it was so yummy. My daughter also had homefries and finished them although she isn't the biggest potato fan, and she devoured her egg and sausage sandwich. My husband got the crabcake breakfast with homefries toast and eggs. I tried it, the crabcake is homemade and mouthwatering. He finished it all as well. We live on Cape in the summer so we will definitely be back but we will have to plan ahead because this place is a gem and that's why it's so popular. : PS Our server Alexis was so nice and you could tell she genuinely cared about our experience. This is the type of place you want to go back to again and again.

You will not be disappointed. Large breakfast menu. All the classics and some wicked crazy good treats like lobster Benedict. The cinnamon bun French toast is second to none! My favorite is the Mashpee, a great breakfast with pancakes, eggs, bacon and “cottage fries”, they put their own special twist on home fries. Friendly, attentive team, great atmosphere and noteworthy food. Strongly recommend. The owner, Dan is usually on site making sure everything runs smoothly. You can pick him out of the crowd because he is always so well dressed almost always with a tie. Good amount of parking and prices are very reasonable.
