Bidrage med feedbackWent to this non-touristy place for lunch on a beautiful Sunday afternoon. Bar had a bunch of locals playing keno but no one was in the dining room. Service was quick and friendly. One of the specials was a toasted French Dip smothered in gooey Swiss served with hot crunchy fries. The sandwich was delicious. My guy got a BLT fries and as there was nothing left so I'm guessing he enjoyed it. Our bill for the two sandwiches and freshly brewed iced tea was just $23 before tip. A bargain in this area where most places jack up their prices for the tourists. I suspect we'll be regulars at this hidden jewel as I cat wait to try some of their dinners.
Giant place. 3-4 pool tables, all kinds of beers. The drinks are made well! My wife had a chocolate martini that was fantastic! Service is good and the owner always asks how you are doing. Trish is the martini Queen of all bartenders. I did not eat here since we already ate, but I will soon!
We ended up eating here after finding our first choice of restaurants packed. We might as well have stayed put the time from ordering to delivery of the food was just short of an hour. The waitress was stressed out and curt after many complaints from other tables about the wait. Could hear the manager yelling in the back. Two stars because *some* of the food was good. However the filet was extremely overcooked and tough as leather. Wish we 'd found a drive thru burger joint instead.
Local hangout.. deceiving.. excellent sandwiches and $10.00 fish and chips lunch special worth every penny..everyone including owner friendly and welcoming..don't drive by..head on in!
Was very disappointed with the bar service..the bartender Tara..I think her name was...was inattentive znd bitchy and closed the bar an hour early because she was tired...will not be returning here!!!
