Bidrage med feedbackSimple. Clean. Delicious. This place is a block down from the catamaran dock. We got off a rough boat ride hungry and looking to settle our stomachs. My friend had the buffalo covered in buffalo cheese. Fantastic. I loved my fried fish. It came with a yummy vinagrette on top. Both came with rice and beans and salad Cole slaw, sort of? If we weren 't determined to try other places, we could 've happily eaten here every meal on the island. Perfect!
Food was very good and on time, we had ordered ahead of time. The day we went they did not have Buffalo Steaks, so we choose a local fish dish. They don't take Debt Cards or Credit Cards, cash only. Good thing I had a few bucks on me.
Patu Anu is an unsophisticated restaurant which offers the hungry traveller delicious regional cooking at very reasonable prices. My wife and I ate three times at this restaurant; invariably selecting one of several local fish as an appetizer, and buffalo steaks covered with a light cheese sauce for our main course. We were never disappointed; either with the size of the portions, the main dish comfortably serves two people, or the prompt and attentive service. Additionally the location of Patu Anu is, quite simply, admirable; less than 5 minutes walk from the ferry port and its adjacent open space. An enjoyable evening meal may be complemented by taking a relaxing stroll, in a gentle breeze, along the banks of the Rio Paracauari, ending at the Praca Da Independencia.
Excellent food. Cozy ambient. Fair Prices. Well localized close to the port of the ferry. Very good services.
Delicious simply cooked food so that you can actually taste the ingredients! Buffalo and fish cooked beautifully and delicious, could have sat and eaten it all afternoon! Popular with local crowd after 12:30, good recommendation!
