If you want a drink any) and some cheese and ham, this is a great place to go. It has a big terrace, so plenty of space. But if you go for the a la carte menu, it is the wrong place. On Saturday 19/08 I went there with 3 friends and ordered drinks, 3 portions of Delizie del mare, 25 euros each, and 3 portions of Verdure alla griglia, 7 euros each, at 9 pm. We got our drinks immediately. However at 10.10 our starters had not been brought yet. When I asked the waitress the reason for the delay, she said that the chef had run out of the 2 sauces going with the king prawns and the monkfish. When eventually the Delizie arrived, the 2 prawns, still bearing the intestine clearly not properly cleaned), and the octopus, one tentacle, were cold. Eventually we were also presented the Verdure alla griglia: the potatoes were cold, dry and inedible. Another negative note was the bread: Sorso is famous for producing an amazing variety of bread, spianatine, pastadura, tondo, biscotto secco. Unfortunately the bread was stale, we left it all. When we told one of the waitresses that the baguette was inedible, she said that one particular baker had let them down! Please note that there are plenty of bakeries and shops in Sorso where one can buy excellent bread. However we would like to thank Monica, the young lady who looked after us, for her excellent service. She was quite embarrassed and at the end she also offered us a digestivo which we turned down because by the time we had finished our meal midnight) ,we did not feel like staying there one more minute.

We went here on the recco of our b&b hosts. It is a wine bar that also serves cheese and ham nothing else). Drinks and food were excellent, good value and the sole waitress serving was fantastic. We had a glass of wine a plate of cheeses and cold meats, pastries and coffees which all cost 9 euros. We could not believe it. You can sit out in the night outside this delicatessen shop, which also has a wide range of wines and beers. Service was great.

Vini eccellenti, servizio eccellente. Ottimo per aperitivi. Se non è troppo caldo la terrazza è fantastica. All'interno è possibile trovare una selezione di vini notevoli. Chiedi al proprietario Nino se hai dubbi.
