Ristoranti Sorrento

We asked for the manager, as we did not find the price of soy milk reasonable. It costed the same as the cappuccino itself and he said after opening the bottle, the soy milk will be rotten so we have to pay the cost of the bottle, that they claimed it “costs 10€” in the grocery store. I dont think so and anyway, how is it my problem? The real problem was the waitress who should not be allowed to work anywhere near people. She literally shouted “STUPID” to us from the other table where she was sitting. Then it escalated to an argument where she called us stupid and names few more times. Whats this?! I dont know how a restaurant can identify with someone like her.

Went in for Lunch and the place was virtually empty, one down pour of rain later the place was full! We didn’t fancy eating outside as you get cars, vans and motorcycles going past so there’s a lot of fumes plus everyone congregates outside to smoke so it’s hardly fresh air! We had Risotto and a fish pasta dish. Both were ok but have to say the portions weren’t large, in fact quite small. The prices are quite high, two meals, a house wine for 28 euros and two desserts meant we spent over 125 euros on a lunch for two that was not that filling! Service is not great, very slow but as it was very full it was difficult for them, so allowances have to be made. Also, not the friendliest restaurant we visited. As with some other establishments in Sorrento it was ok but not outstanding and probably would not visit again if we returned.

We found this restaurant by chance when we walked through sorrento and took an outside table. we had grilled thun and lemon and garnel risotto. both were simple but well presented and delicious. the service was attentive, but not intrusive. the high point was actually the self-produced limoncello served in a very cold high glass. for me, that was the best I tasted during our whole holiday, although it could have been just that because it was a very hot day. nothing special, but a decent place for a quick but relaxing lunch.

Siamo stati seduti e abbiamo ordinato rapidamente, poiché in altri ristoranti non c'erano tavoli liberi; Dopo aver letto le recensioni mi aspettavo qualcosa di diverso... ma sia il primo piatto che il secondo non erano niente di male.

Worst experience of Italy!! Make yourself a favor and don't spend your money here! Here's why... We asked 2 cappuccinos (already knowing the over rated price of 4.5€ each) but we asked with soy milk instead of normal milk... They charged 16€ (7€ extra) claiming that 1lt of soy milk was 10€ (the picture was taken in a supermarket 100mt away from the restaurant) and that it would expire quick (which is also not true and really not my business). After i told them that the price was ridiculous, the server/waitress called me stupid... What else to say.. It was the first time in all my trips and experiences that i left a restaurant without paying due to the lack of respect.
