Semola - Sorrent

I really wanted to like this place. I had high expectations. The bruschetta wasn't what I expected or had in mind and the pasta were tasty but not memorable. However the black ink pasta was great! Initially didnt want to mention it but we found a piece of glass in the pasta. My friend has chewed the meat and the glass was in her mouth. Just surprised there was no extra service for this situation. Didnt even offer to change for a new plate in case there was any more glass. Pretentious. Refusing customers service under the guise of being closed. Maybe they didn’t like the look of my shoes (I’ve been travelling long term) or my aesthetic. Get a grip. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Just regulat food. Nothing exceptional and the staff should be careful as people can understand Italian. You’re not that funny : Food: 3 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 2

Ate here twice during our stay in Sorrento. The staff were friendly and attentive and the pasta was amazing! I tried their carbonara and their cacio e pepe with raw calamari.
