Similar to any other tourist trap in Sorrento, but it does not deserve the 2.8 it has at the time of writing this Review. In winter, it is overall a reasonable option in the center, the service is great, the food is not bad and the price is acceptable for the location. Went to this place not knowing anything and I paid the consequences for it. The host should have been my 1st red flag as he barked at me by saying this restaurant and the one next door were the same, when my family and I were deciding on what to eat right outside. We waited for 20 minutes to place our order and then another 30+ minutes for our food and drinks. This was way before the place got busy. Having worked in the restaurant industry I found it amusing and pathetic to see the host, manager and waiters unable to divide the floor so each person would know what section they were responsible for. It was like watching a bad comedy and seeing multiple staff tending to the same table yet other tables were left completely abandoned. This isn’t all by the way. After having to wait what seemed like an eternity, we finally stopped one of the waiters to ask if there’s a dessert menu. His response was “Get up and see what you want”, and pointed to the display at the back of the restaurant, and walked away. We ended up asking another waiter for the dessert menu, which he ended up listing. Another eternity later (about half an hour), we finally got our dessert. When we asked for our bill, we received it another 40 minutes later. A 90 minute experience at a restaurant turned into a 2.5h experience making us feel like we were being held hostage there.
