Admiral Sorrento

Wonderful location, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was nice and lots of choice. Pool was cold but as it was 30c+ it was welcome. If you get a room with a sea view it makes ot that little more special Rooms: 5 Service: 5 Location: 5 Hotel highlights: Great view, Romantic, Great value

This was a small hotel in a beautiful, tucked away position on the quieter part of Sorrento the Marina Grande. It had amazing sea views across the bay of Naples to Vesuvius and a lovely restaurant (breakfast only) with terrace overlooking the sea. Our room had a balcony (four all together just a thin wire fence between them so no privacy) overlooking the sea which was excellent. It had a small unheated pool which didn't catch a lot of sunlight so was a bit cold for me. Our room didn't have air conditioning. Rooms: 4 Service: 4 Location: 5 Hotel highlights: Great view

The hotel is in a perfect location overlooking the bay . Unfortunately, it only gets the sun until lunch time and then it's in shade the rest of the day. There is a little beach just a minutes stroll though. The rooms are basic but clean. AC works. The hotel is a little tired but the hotel staff are very friendly. The breakfasts are lovely, everything from fresh fruit to a full cooked breakfast. Nearby activities: Plenty to see and do , lots of tours and trips available. Pompeii, Amalfi Vesuvius, walk into Sorrento town, it's beautiful. Walkability: A little hilly from the hotel into town Rooms: 3 Service: 4 Location: 5 Hotel highlights: Great view, Great value

Hotel is very nice, relaxed atmosphere, small enough that you don 't feel crowded with a fantastic view over to Vesuvius. Staff are extremely friendly and polite. The marina is lovely with restaurants all along the waters edge, but manages not to feel tourist-y . Only downside is there is quite a walk uphill to get into Sorrento centre which would be a challenge for anyone with mobility issues. Rooms: Clean and tidy wit a balcony giving vies onto the Marina or sea. Maybe could use tea/coffee facilities?
