The Ugly Mug - Soquel

I absolutely adore this place. It's not just our favorite local coffee shop and meeting spot - it's something special. Keep up the great work, Steve. And a big thank you for introducing me to Michael Franti.

In addition to the range of creature comfort of seductive soups, quinces, salads and sandwiches, there is a warm greeting of the staff. Selected coffees, teas and craft brews are well in stock at Ugly Becher. They will also discover food for the soul. The establishment has cultivated a friendly community atmosphere that will bring you back again and again. Come to the Fiddling Cricket and Canyon Acoustic Society music series and you will be well rewarded.

Since I had to leave my roots in Capitola, I missed this place. When I visit, I stop and grab a ray of freezing sunshine and everything feels right again until I have to go back to the dry desert that is San Joaquin Valley.

The Ugly Cup Cafe was a fantastic spot to unwind and enjoy a cup of coffee.

Best neighborhood coffee spot ever. The people who work here, the food offerings, the great drinks, the music and Steve. Everything to love.
