Aj's Chevron Mart Car Wash - Soquel

The service was fantastic! I ordered the chorizo burrito and was not disappointed. The highlight of my experience was the cute guy, Jordan, behind the counter.

I specifically want to address the touchless car wash at this restaurant. I believe I am a fair person, someone who can joke around and have a good laugh. However, I was quite disappointed to discover that after paying $11 USD, I was still able to write "WASH ME" on my car with my finger. To make matters worse, even though you can purchase a towel inside, using it only left my car streaky instead of clean. I would have been better off waiting for it to rain.

This restaurant serves the worst fish and chips I have ever seen. It reminds me of Vandy Camp Frozen fish sticks, but even worse. On the bright side, they serve an excellent burger.

We have had locals recommend this place. We just ordered their Fish and Chips. The Chips were worse than McDonalds Fries and the Fish was more like a Fish Finger you would serve to small Children. DON'T BOTHER OR WASTE TOUR MONEY.

Love this market and gas station and car wash and meat market but what I 'm reviewing is their Chicken Shawarma wrap. If you don 't know what that is think like a big middle eastern burrito. I liked their Shawarma but they rolled them all messed up and forgot the sauce entirely on one. There were two people making them so I don 't know who is responsible but both were 80% veggies, no meat. As I was eating mine I thought did they give me a vegetarian Shawarma? Is there even such a thing? The veggies were really fresh and this one had sauce so I was still enjoying it then I got to the bottom 20% and BAM, all the chicken. The second one had the same terrible distribution and they forgot the sauce! So my conclusion is that this could be awesome unless the person making it totally messes it up. Maybe explain to them that you can add veggies and meat together along the entire length of the tortilla then roll it or maybe bring in an expert. We are blessed with many expert tortilla rollers in this area. ??
