Copper Room - Sooke

Food is good. Great, actually. The location is awesome too. But because of the distance to the kitchen and other issues, the service is a bit slow. If you have time, it is not problem.

Great ambiance. It was all done up for Christmas while we were there. Sat by the fireplace while we waited for a reservation in the dining room and on the second night had dinner at the Copper room. The food was delicious of course and the server was polite and chatty but not too chatty.

When we first arrived, our first impression was.....charming, and it didn't disappoint! Lovely spot with wonderful food and endearing servers. We went for lunch, and definitely plan on going back for dinner. The ocean views are priceless!

This was a lovely stop in our day. The soup was excellent, the chowder was excellent-er! Charcuterie board is really well done, but beware the peppers!! Way too much heat on these. Burgers were good, but I would definately try something different next time.

We had afternoon tea here today. Normally, the tea is served in the beautiful dining room. But it was being set up for a movie shoot. It was disappointing not to be in the beautiful and sunny room with the amazing view but our tea was delicious and the service by Erin was wonderful.
