Shiso - Sonoma

Amazing cook, spectacular food and a wonderfully welcoming staff!

Had a spicy tuna Bengo, I thought it was okay, but not amazing. Service was good.

This was our first visit to Shiso and, based on food and service, it will not be our last visit. We had the Napa Valley Sushi (wonderful), the fresh Tuna Sashimi (spectacular), the Ramen Chicken Soup (mmmmmmmm) and the Ramen Spicy Beef Soup (good). The beef in the soup was so delicate and tasty, the noodles so good and the presentation so attractive-bored stems of scalion, beautiful touch. Our only criticism is that the cattle broth lacked enough depth to stand up to the wort of soup.

What can I say other than...The best sushi in Sonoma County! Great service with friendly staff and owner (workin the sushi counter). Wasabi deviled eggs and hand rolls Rock! Don't let the exterior strip mall deter ya...inside is super cool! Overall great experience!
