The food at this restaurant is consistently delicious. Every dish is executed perfectly. Even though I usually don't drink, I had an exceptionally good and strong cocktail special there once. Highland Kitchen is a well-established spot in Somerville that doesn't come off as pretentious. You can always count on having a great time there. The service is always friendly. My partner and I visit Highland Kitchen once every month or two for dinner.

Came bc of good reviews and was pretty disappointed. I ordered a salad and was given a leaf to cut with a knife. I just wanted a dang bowl of lettuce and this was the weirdest, most inconvenient salad I have ever had. Lemonade was also odd tasting. My daughter loved her burger though.
