Somerset Food Bar

We were pleasantly surprised. The food portions were generous, the service was outstanding, and it's a fantastic dining spot. Both the fish and the chicken were not greasy. The homemade carrot cakes and buttercakes were the perfect ending to our meal. We will definitely return.

After a tour around the area we were looking for a dinner. Thanks to the reviews here we chose the Somerset Food Bar. We were not disappointed. The staff was friendly and attentive. The food was great. My wife ordered the vegetarian pizza that was perfect. My sister ordered a special burger who was juicy and tasty. I ordered the steak sandwich I rarely ordered medium. I know this is difficult on a thin cut, but they have succeeded. Our fries were fresh and not fat. Thanks for the great Manitoba small town scale.

We were looking for a lunch on the way to the family in Treherne and we met the jackpot! After reading reviews we decided to go through Somerset and try the Food Bar. We were really impressed. Our waitress was warm and personal....We were well looked after by talking to us about menu items, the channel on the British Open (golf in the group), to fast and efficient service. While their burgers are a popular product, we have all selected their signatures Broasted Chicken. It was delicious. We were able to choose between white/dark meat and the specific pieces we wanted. The chicken was moist and really good seasoned. We all had the 1/2 order and it was a lot of food. It came with the choice of potato, Cole Slav, Veggie, and the choice of soup or salad. From the conversations with our relatives we found that the food bar is also popular with them.

The staff at this restaurant is extremely welcoming, and the food is delicious. They also offer special dishes like steak and lobster, which are a treat! I love coming here for coffee, dessert, and meals. I have never had a bad experience - it's a fantastic place to dine.

For the past decade, my family has frequented this restaurant nearly every Saturday. I have never been let down by a meal here. The staff is consistently friendly and welcoming, treating you as if you were part of the family. Every town should have a gem of a restaurant like this one.
