CD Cafe - Solomons

AMAZING food! I got the steak app. with portobello mushroom, spinach, Boursin cheese, and a balsamic reduction. It was legit a full sized steak and the entire dish was amazing. Had a side of risotto which was good, and the key lime semifreddo with a Nutella ganache which was also truly amazing. Ordered a hot tea and the presentation was beautiful! Came out with tons of tea options, an extra kettle of water, lemons and honey. Friendly staff and nice ambiance. The total for this truly amazing meal was under $35 with a 20% tip! HIGHLY recommend this place!!!! We dined in the front room but I've heard from co-workers as this gen is loved by many that the back room really has a great atmosphere. Don't think, just go to this wonderful establishment, you mouth will thank you. Make sure you get dessert!!!!

This photo is all that is left of an amazing meal! My server, Michelle, was sweet and attentive and the creative cuisine was delicious. The clam chowder with fresh vegetables was the best I 've had. The burger with boursin and spinach was very nice and the shrimp Alfredo was pleasantly presented on bow tie pasta with pancetta and spring peas was incredible. I finished with tuxedo cake and handmade orange ice cream. This restaurant is pure unexpected treasure and I highly recommend it when you 're in the area.

A dear friend I had lunch there yesterday. As vegans, it can sometimes be a challenge finding restaurants that will accommodate a compassionate healthy plant based lifestyle. CD Cafe was more than willing did so with a wonderful attitude on top of it all. Thank you so much for providing an awesome meal friendly service please add more vegan items to your menu! There's a LOT of us in this area we'd be thrilled to visit you more if the menu options were already available! :

A wonderful friend and I stopped by CD for lunch yesterday. Being vegans and I am a vegan that is low fat (very low fat) the chef and staff at CD couldn't have been more wonderful to us and so accommodating. The atmosphere is great I adore the staff and the food was OFF THE CHART great. Vegans ..... come on down to Solomons!

Another excellent meal. The base menu is phenomenal, but the chef excels at his/ her daily specials. It’s true when they brag about being the best restaurant in Somd.
