The Flute Flagon - Solihull

Visited 2023. Contrary to older reviews, the only vegan options are a katsu curry and a salad. Won't be back.

Used to come here just for drinks, then, a couple of years ago, I noticed the Christmas menu (I wasn't vegan then) so tried some of the main menu to see if it was worthy of a Christmas dinner with the family (8 of us takes some cooking at home) and the food was amazing, we went back three Christmases running. Now as a vegan it's a whole new flavour sensation, I wasn't expecting to see anything on the menu and was pleasantly surprised. The venue can get a little noisy if the football is on but it is child friendly, there are booths to the back if you wanted a little more quiet. The food and drink quality is always fantastic, never had to complain or send anything back, great service generally. Men's toilets are downstairs, but there is an accessible toilet at ground level. Covid safe. Sun trap out the front.

What an atmosphere, was here for the darts final on Wednesday night. Played poker (didn't win) was buzzing considering it was a wet Wednesday in January.

Great place for a drink with my friends and family. Always a warm welcome from Sarah and the rest of the team

Came to Solihull to do bit shopping had a drink and some food great service and food was perfect nice pub
